How Does Trichoderma Work?
Trichoderma acts through multiple mechanisms to control plant diseases and enhance plant health. It suppresses harmful pathogens through:
Mycoparasitism – Trichoderma directly attacks plant pathogens by producing enzymes that degrade their cell walls.
Antibiosis – It secretes antimicrobial compounds that inhibit the growth of harmful fungi.
Competition for Nutrients and Space – Trichoderma outcompetes pathogens in the soil, depriving them of essential nutrients and space.
Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR) – It enhances the plant’s natural defense mechanisms, making it more resistant to infections.
Plant Growth Promotion – Trichoderma improves root development, nutrient uptake, and overall plant vigor.

Application Methods
1. Seed Treatment
Mix 5–10 ml of Bio Nepashield per kg of seeds.
Coat the seeds evenly before sowing to protect against soil-borne pathogens.

2. Soil Application
Mix 2–5 liters per hectare with compost, manure, or soil and apply during land preparation or after planting.
Enhances root colonization and provides long-term disease protection.

3. Root Dipping
Mix 50 ml of Bio Nepashield per 10 liters of water.
Dip seedling roots in the solution for 30 minutes before transplanting to prevent root rot and damping-off.

4. Foliar Spray
Dilute 5–10 ml per liter of water and spray on leaves.
Controls foliar fungal diseases like powdery mildew and leaf spots.

5. Drip Irrigation
Apply 1–2 liters per acre through the irrigation system.
Ensures even distribution and soil enrichment with beneficial microbes.
